Pay Scales & Salary Structure

The pay scales for RPSC RAS posts are designated under the 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix of Rajasthan. The grade pays are distributed as follows:

*Initial gross salary includes Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other medical and state allowances as applicable.

Reservation Guidelines

  • Vertical Reservation: Seats are distributed as per the Rajasthan Government laws for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), More Backward Classes (MBC), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
  • Horizontal Reservation: Provided for Specially Abled Persons (PwD), Ex-Servicemen, outstanding Sports Persons, and ministerial staff of the state.
  • Women Reservation: 30% reservation is reserved for female candidates category-wise, with special distributions for widows and divorced women.
